We don’t do news. We do next steps.

JomGuide.my translates Malaysian policy, tax and money news into the first step you can take today.

Why JomGuide exists

There is no shortage of information. What’s missing is “so what do I do now?”

In 2026 e-Invoicing went fully mandatory, SST widened, and digital banks changed their rates three times in a year. Every one of those made the news — but nobody told you what to do first, where to do it, or what you get at the end.

That is the only question we answer. Every article opens with an action, closes with an official source, and has nothing in between that you can skip.

What is JomGuide.my?

A free guide site for Malaysians. We turn tax, money and policy news — tax reliefs, EPF, e-Invoicing, SST, aid schemes — into checklists that start with the first thing you should do.

Is it free?

Yes. Every guide is free to read, and you don’t need to sign up.

Where does the information come from?

From official sources — LHDN, KWSP, BNM, JPJ, SSM and others — linked in every article. Second-hand reporting doesn’t make a checklist.

How up to date are the guides?

Rates, thresholds and deadlines show when they were last checked. When a rule changes the guide changes too, and its “Updated” date says when.

How does JomGuide make money?

Some buttons are affiliate links, such as bank accounts and software trials. They are always orange, and if you sign up through one we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We also refer readers to licensed tax agents and accountants for a referral fee. Rankings are never paid for.

Is this tax, legal or investment advice?

No. It’s information to help you take the first step. For big decisions, check the official source or ask a licensed professional.

Can I suggest a topic or send in a story?

Yes — reader requests decide what we write next. Send it through the Contact us page.
